Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. – BallenIsles Country Club General Manager and Chief Operating Officer Ryan Walls and Director of Golf Jeff Fitzherbert played a combined 216 holes of golf on Friday, September 17th to raise funds for the First Tee of the Palm Beaches (rain shortened their goal of 252 holes). Walls and Fitzherbert were participating in the 6th Annual 100 Hole Challenge Golf Marathon held on BallenIsles Country Club’s East Course and raised more than $17,500 for the First Tee of the Palm Beaches through BallenIsles’ member donations and pledges. In 2020, the duo raised more than $15,000 for the First Tee of the Palm Beaches, playing a combined 250 holes of golf.
The two played 108 holes each, over nearly eight and half-hours, covering approximately 18 miles.
“A great day, raising money for one of our favorite groups, with Fitzy and I on our East course, it can’t get any better,” said Walls. “We are again so grateful to the Club for allowing us to play golf all day and of course for the support once again showed toward the First Tee. We are so proud of our supportive members.”
While their 100 Hole Challenge is complete, Walls and Fitzherbert hope to continue to collect donations for the First Tee of the Palm Beaches through the month of October as the fundraiser website is still accepting contributions.
