Charlotte, N.C. and Monterey, Calif. – Bank of America and Youth on Course today announced record participation in Golf with Us, an initiative that expands affordable access to golf for kids by unlocking tee times for $5 or less at courses nationwide.
Golf with Us Participation Surges

- Since its launch in 2025, Golf with Us has enrolled nearly 200,000 kids ages 6-18 in a free one-year membership to Youth on Course, with 2026 enrollment increasing 20 percent over 2025.
- Young people from every state, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico have enrolled, including many first-time golfers and over 50,000 girls, approximately 30 percent of the overall total.

Golf with Us Clinics & Days of Play Drive Community Impact
Bank of America has hosted more than 3,000 kids at 50 free Golf with Us clinics across the country, blending golf fundamentals with life skills.
Bank of America expanded its partnership with World Golf Hall of Famer Tom Watson and Watson Links, pairing youth one-on-one with adult mentors during special Days of Play designed to build confidence, reinforce skills like golf etiquette, communication and sportsmanship, and foster meaningful connections through play. Four Days of Play in Austin, Kansas City, Indianapolis and Denver welcomed nearly 150 participants.

In 2026, Youth on Course members enjoyed enhanced benefits designed to lower barriers to entry and make the game more accessible:
- Members enjoy access to $5 golf simulator rentals and a free lesson from a PGA professional at Golf Galaxy and DICK’s House of Sport
- Youth on Course also partnered with Topgolf to offer $5 bays during designated hours at all locations throughout the summe

Youth on Course
Youth on Course, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization headquartered in Monterey, Calif., provides youth 18 and under access to life-changing opportunities through golf. Since its inception in 2006, Youth on Course members have played more than 6 million subsidized rounds of golf for $5 or less at thousands of partner courses throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia. Watson Links is a nonprofit youth golf mentoring organization founded in 2021 by eight-time major champion Tom Watson. The organization builds community and personal growth through golf mentoring. Watson Links supports local partners to create or strengthen programs that pair junior golfers ages 10 to 18 with vetted adult mentors. These on-course experiences build confidence, teach golf etiquette, and develop important life-readiness skills while helping remove barriers to the game. In 2026, Watson Links programs expanded to 45 markets nationwide, engaging golfers of all ages and skill levels in a growing mentoring movement through golf.
