Billy Casper Golf & Buffalo Groupe to Host PGA Show Kick-Off Party
Aspiring PGA Professionals Will Have Chance to Interact with The Greatest Team in Golf
(RESTON, Va.) – Billy Casper Golf (“BCG”), the highly respected and innovative operator of over 160 golf courses in 26 states, will host its annual PGA Show kick-off party in partnership with Buffalo Groupe on Tuesday, Jan. 21 from 6 – 11 p.m. at Lafayette’s Restaurant and Bar in Orlando, Florida.
BCG, one of the largest privately-owned golf course management companies in the United States, and Buffalo Groupe, the world’s first marketing platform designed specifically through the lens of golf, will host the most influential individuals representing the golf community of today and tomorrow – industry leaders, vendor partners, valued clients and PGM students alike.
Over the years, the party has become the unofficial start to PGA Show week. With a keynote from BCG Chairman and CEO Peter Hill, Golf Inc.’s “Sixth Most Powerful Person in Golf,” live music and friendly competition for stellar prizes, it should be a night to remember as the golf industry looks forward to analyzing the latest advances in the game.
“We have built quite the following to our kick-off party over the years and it’s very encouraging to have so many engaged leaders in golf in the same place for one night a year,” says, Hill. “We are equally as excited to see exuberance in the new and future faces of the game, including PGM students from all over the country.”
In 2019, BCG celebrated its 30th anniversary and continued its strategic growth by expanding its portfolio by 19 golf facilities, improving the financial results of public, private and municipal golf courses through first-class customer service, proprietary marketing technologies, and best-practices crafted from years of operational success.
This time last year, BCG spun off its public relations division, Buffalo Agency, into a separate business. The new holding company and co-host for the kick-off party, Buffalo Groupe, has already acquired three firms, while BCG remains its largest shareholder.
“It’s a monumental moment not just for our corporations, but the game and industry as a whole,” says Kyle Ragsdale, chief executive officer of Buffalo Groupe. “We are blessed to have so many passionate partners who share the common goal of bringing golf to everyone.”
