Bear the Palm Focuses on Elevating Junior Golf Apparel with Comfort and Style
Charleston, SC – Bear the Palm, a family-owned company based in Charleston, South Carolina, announces its entry into the world of golf apparel. The unique brand is well-positioned to redefine golf fashion, offering a perfect blend of comfort, style, and sensory-friendly designs for boys and their golf-loving dads.
Bear the Palm’s inaugural collection features matching child/parent polos in a range of high-quality, durable, athletic fabrics. The polos are designed with sensory-sensitive children in mind, featuring soft, moisture-wicking materials, and tagless designs that are carefully engineered with the right amount of stretch for easy on-and-off wear. The brand is committed to providing unique prints with their first polo collection inspired by the Lowcountry, ensuring that children, parents, and grandparents will enjoy fashion-forward designs like oysters, blue crabs, and marsh scenery in celebration of the region’s heritage. Other apparel on the horizon includes easy, pull-on golf shorts and joggers, and cozy q-zips.
Founder Lindsey Leech’s passion for creating sensory-friendly clothing stems from her son’s sensory processing disorder diagnosis. Understanding the struggles faced by many parents, Lindsey collaborated with healthcare professionals, teachers, and parents to develop apparel that prioritizes comfort and functionality.
To celebrate its official launch, Bear the Palm is offering a limited-time promotion. Customers can use the promo code JOLLY15 to receive a 15% discount on purchases. Bear the Palm’s unique collection of golf apparel is the perfect holiday gift for young boys and dads to match and can be found at this link.
In addition to its commitment to quality and comfort, Bear the Palm is deeply involved in community outreach. The company’s long-term vision includes giving back to the community and supporting nonprofits focused on youth development through golf. ABOUT BEAR THE PALM
Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Lindsey’s family is lucky enough to spend most of the year outdoors. Her sons’ love for golf was the catalyst for this venture. When shopping for their golf apparel, it was difficult to find a happy medium between standard stripes and large, loud prints for the young athlete. She noticed most boys were often wearing oversized, untucked polos with parents admitting to the same struggles as her to finding better options. The polo shirts are crafted with a focus on catering to sensory-sensitive children, incorporating gentle, moisture-wicking fabrics and tagless designs, crafted to provide just the right level of stretch for effortless wearing and removal.
Inspired by Lindsey’s sons, Palmer and Bear, the name “Bear the Palm” originates from Roman history when it was custom to present the victorious gladiator with a palm. The phrase can be what it means to you to “take the prize” or “be the winner.” For her family, the person who “bears the palm” is the one who is having the most fun!
