(TINLEY PARK, IL) – Bettinardi Golf, leader in precision-milled putters and inventor of one piece technology, secured three top 10 finishes on the European Tour at the Gran Canaria Open. Bettinardi Tour staffers, Sam Horsfield, who finished 4th, Darius van Driel (T8), and the Dutchman who trusted his DASS BB8 Tri to finish T8, all competed at Meloneras Golf Academy in Las Palmas, Spain this past weekend.
Bettinardi Golf putters continue to rack up top 10s week in and week out on the European Tour. Recently signed staffer, Sam Horsfield, secured his third top 10 finish (two top 5’s) in the past five weeks. Horsfield, who finished 4th this week at the Gran Canaria Open, ranked at the top for birdies made at the tournament, while Darius van Driel ranked 3rd in SG: Putting, trusting his Inovai 6.0 Center Shaft Tour Dept. putter.
Horsfield currently sits 1st in Putts Per GIR with a (1.60 average) for the European Tour season, 3rd on the European Tour in One Putts (8.50), and 13th in Strokes Gained Putting (0.96). On Friday, Sam Horsfield received a special exemption on the PGA TOUR, and will travel to the Valspar Championship in Florida this week for his first PGA Tour start of 2021. For the first time on the PGA Tour, Horsfield will game the official Bettinardi Tour staff bag, along with his trusted DASS BBZero putter.
