Tinley Park, IL- Bettinardi Golf is proud to announce the signing of 2021 U.S. Amateur Champion and LIV Golf member, James Piot to join its professional Tour staff. As the latest member of Team Bettinardi, Piot will use a Bettinardi Studio Stock 3 custom putter.
“It means so much to join Team Bettinardi with its rich company history and ability to craft anything I want from scratch, all made in its own shop,” said Piot. “They’ve delivered time and time again on my very specific putter requests, and I look forward to my first professional win with the Bettinardi in play.”
After setting the lowest single-season scoring average in program history at Michigan State his senior year, Piot turned pro after winning the 2021 U.S. Amateur. Piot is a highly anticipated addition to the LIV Tour, where he will compete individually and compete with Team HyFlyers GC.
Piot joins Bettinardi’s existing Tour staff consisting of Matt Fitzpatrick, Matt Kuchar, Jason Kokrak, Fred Couples, Alex Fitzpatrick, Patty Tavatanakit, Jodi Ewart Shadoff, and Jim Herman.
