Fitzpatrick Drains Clutch 13-Footer on Final Hole with Bettinardi DASS BB1 Flow Putter
Tinley Park, IL — Bettinardi Golf proudly congratulates Tour Ambassador Matt Fitzpatrick on his victory at the 2026 Valspar Championship, held at Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead Course in Palm Harbor, Florida.
Fitzpatrick closed with a final-round 3-under 68, highlighted by a clutch 13-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole to secure a one-shot victory and his third PGA Tour title. Demonstrating poise and precision down the stretch, Fitzpatrick navigated one of the PGA Tour’s most demanding finishing stretches with confidence and control.
Throughout the week, Fitzpatrick relied on his DASS (Double-Aged Stainless Steel) BB1 Flow putter, a Tour Department build crafted to his exact specifications. Known for its exceptional feel and consistency, the putter delivered when it mattered most—culminating in the tournament-winning putt on the final green.
“Matthew is one of the most precise players in the world, and his ability to perform under pressure is second to none,” said Sam Bettinardi, President of Bettinardi Golf. “To see him trust his DASS BB1 Flow to close out a victory on one of the toughest finishing holes on Tour speaks to the confidence and performance we strive to deliver in every putter we make.”
Fitzpatrick’s win marks the second Bettinardi victory across professional tours this week, further reinforcing the brand’s presence at the highest levels of the game and adding to its legacy of more than 100 professional victories worldwide.
