Tinley Park, IL– Bettinardi Golf announced today that the winner of the Amundi Evian Championship used the company’s DASS (Double-Aged Stainless Steel) Studio Stock 3 putter to capture the historic Major victory. After leading the tournament all four rounds, the 4-time LPGA winner secured her first Major win in her own native country.
The #1 CME-ranked player in the world and the winningest LPGA French player of all time finished -14 under par and tallied 19 birdies over her four rounds.
The Frenchwoman putted her way to victory with her Custom Tour Dept. Studio Stock 3, which features a Black Oxide finish, a Flymill face that showcases her initials, and a Windy City Wizard icon on the sole. The champion golfer has had her SS3 putter in play since 2021, securing 23 top-ten finishes in that time, and is one of four players to have won twice on Tour so far this year.
“Watching the winner become the only player to shoot four rounds in the 60s was a completely awe-inspiring performance,” said Sam Bettinardi, President of Bettinardi Golf. “It was so special to not only witness this historic achievement but to also have her Bettinardi putter play a big role in her victory was incredibly momentous.”
