Tinley Park, IL – Bettinardi Brand Ambassador and PGA Tour Star Jason Kokrak, earned his fourth PGA Tour victory over the weekend, as the 36-year-old and his partner Kevin Na birdied 12 of the final 13 holes to storm from behind and win the 2021 QBE Shootout.
Entering Sunday’s final round of four-ball trailing by three strokes, Kokrak would need a lights out putting performance to pull out another victory, and the hottest putter on the PGA Tour did just that.
Trusting his Bettinardi Studio Stock 38 with Robert J. Bettinardi’s Tour-proven F.I.T. Face, the Cleveland, Ohio native rolled in birdies on the 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th, and 18th holes to close out his fourth PGA Tour victory in his last 29 starts.
“Jason’s win at the QBE Shootout validated everything he’s been doing on tour by winning his 4th PGA Tour sanctioned event in the last 14th months,” said Executive Vice President Sam Bettinardi. “It’s so amazing to see the hard work and time he’s put into his putting to propel him to one of the Top-10 putters on the PGA Tour, while using a model that is available to the everyday consumer.”
The victory marks the fourth win in 14 months for Kokrak since making the switch to Bettinardi, as he currently ranks 6th in strokes gained putting after being ranked 151st at the start of last season.
Kokrak will now turn his attention to the 2022 PGA Tour Season, as the 4x PGA Tour winner looks to continue his phenomenal putting in the new year after his most successful season on Tour.
This win puts an exclamation on Bettinardi’s banner year with our 9th Tour victory of the season. Stay tuned for more exciting Tour news from Bettinardi Golf in the very near future.
