Brownwood, TX – The Women’s All Pro Tour and the PXG Race to Stage II will visit the Central TX town of Brownwood and the Hideout Resort, next week. This will be the first time the WAPT hosts an event at the beautiful Hideout Resort.
“We are thrilled to be hosting the WAPT this June,” explains Mick Jones, Director of Golf at The Hideout Golf Club and Resort. “It is a unique opportunity for these women to not only get a feel for tour life, but to use this as a launching pad for their career, and to be a part of their future is an honor.”
The field will include over 82 LPGA and Epson Tour hopefuls as they look to take home the seventh championship of the 2023 season.

This week also starts our second event of the new WAPT Collegiate Series. The 11 ladies competing in this pro-prep series. The Collegiate Series competitors have the opportunity to compete alongside the pros, and earn World Amateur Golf Ranking points, and the series winner will earn an Epson Tour start at the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic on August 18-20 in Pendleton, Oregon.
The action gets underway at 8:00 A.M. CT on the first two days of play. A cut will be made after 36 holes to the top 40% of the starting field, including ties. Amateurs are included in the cut number. Based on the score, the field will be repaired before the final two rounds, and players will go off in reverse horseshoes with leaders teeing off last. A trophy presentation by the clubhouse will follow the final round of play. Attendance is free to the public.
