Big Break x Good Good Presented by Golf Galaxy’ Returns to Golf Channel for 24th Season of Ground-Breaking Reality Competition this August
In Partnership with Good Good Golf, Transformative Series Takes Place from Horseshoe Bay Resort in Horseshoe Bay, Texas
STAMFORD, Conn. – Today, Golf Galaxy has been named the presenting sponsor of Big Break x Good Good, as the ground-breaking golf reality competition show returns to Golf Channel this August.
Taking place at Horseshoe Bay Resort in Horseshoe Bay, Texas, Big Break x Good Good presented by Golf Galaxy renews Golf Channel’s transformative golf reality competition series, in partnership with Good Good Golf. The original series broke ground in television entertainment beginning in the early 2000s and ran for a record-breaking 23 seasons.
“Big Break is known for providing aspiring professionals with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to achieve their dreams,” said Glenn Grimshaw, Vice President, Franchise Development, Golf Channel. “We’re excited to partner with Golf Galaxy, who help golfers achieve their goals in their stores every day, to present the high stakes reality competition and authentic storytelling of Big Break x Good Good to viewers on Golf Channel.”
“We’re thrilled to be the presenting sponsor of Big Break x Good Good and help usher in the next era of the series,” said Michael Stack, Senior Vice President of Golf Galaxy. “As fans of the original Big Break phenomenon, and the fresh energy Good Good is bringing to the game, we’re proud to be part of the show’s return in 2026. Good Good, along with Golf Channel, are perfectly positioned to intersect traditional and modern golf, and that’s exactly how we think about showing up in our stores every day, ready to meet golfers wherever they are in their journey.”
Dating back to its debut in 2003, Big Break pits highly-skilled golfers against each other in a variety of skills challenges from tee-to-green, including two of the series’ signature challenges – the popular “Glass Break” and “Flop Wall” challenges – which will return for Big Break x Good Good presented by Golf Galaxy.
Throughout the show’s history, Big Break has awarded aspiring professional golfers exemption into select events on tours across professional golf, including the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, DP World Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, and PGA TOUR Champions. The winner of Big Break x Good Good presented by Golf Galaxy will earn an exemption into the PGA TOUR’s Good Good Championship in November 2026.
Big Break Dominican Republic winner, former LPGA Tour pro and Golf Channel personality Blair O’Neal will serve as host of Big Break x Good Good presented by Golf Galaxy. O’Neal competed twice on Big Break, also earning runner-up honors in Big Break Prince Edward Island.
Members of Good Good Golf will compete and be featured throughout Big Break x Good Good presented by Golf Galaxy. Brad Dalke and Sean Walsh will be two of the 12 competitors on Big Break x Good Good presented by Golf Galaxy, Matt Scharff will co-host the season alongside Blair O’Neal, and Garrett Clark and Bubbie Broders will serve as non-playing team captains.
“We believe at Good Good Golf that there’s more to golf, and Big Break is representative of that,” said Matt Kendrick, Founder and CEO of Good Good Golf. “We couldn’t imagine better partners than the Golf Channel and Golf Galaxy, as we usher in the next era of Big Break, and further the evolution of golf culture with golf lovers, players, and fans.”
Production of Big Break x Good Good presented by Golf Galaxy will be led by executive producers Chris Graham and Kevin Schultz. Graham has served in various roles on Big Break dating back to The Big Break IV: USA vs. Europe, including Challenge Producer and Lead Producer for seasons 14-23. Schultz has been a producer at Golf Channel for 25 years, overseeing instruction content and producing shows including The Golf Fix, School of Golf, and Morning Drive.
