Hardeeville, South Carolina – Riverton Pointe Golf and Country Club in Hardeeville, South Carolina will host the 2026 BIG EAST Men’s Golf Championships, May 2 – 4. Eleven BIG EAST schools will participate in the Men’s Golf Championships, including Marquette University, Xavier University, Creighton University, Seton Hall University, St. John’s University, University of Connecticut, Villanova University, Georgetown University, DePaul University, Butler University, and Providence College. Three golfers have connections to South Carolina’s Lowcountry, with Jack Bosworth of Seton Hall and Austin Scott of DePaul University both hailing from Daniels Island, while Campbell Skelly from Providence College is from Charleston.
2026 marks the fourth consecutive year the BIG EAST Golf Championships will be played at Riverton Pointe as the club hosted the Women’s Championship in 2025, the Men’s Championship in 2024, and the Men’s and Women’s Championship in 2023. From scoring to shuttling, more than 40 Riverton Pointe Members will volunteer their time, effort, and support to help make the event run smoothly and efficiently, while the Riverton Pointe agronomy, golf operations and food and beverage teams will be executing a top-tier event for players, coaches, and spectators.
