Fred Funk and Loren Roberts remain Nos. 1 and 2 in the Champions Tour’s Charles Schwab Cup point standings. Funk has 2,109 points, 57 more than Roberts heading into this week’s SAS Championship. … Nacabi Trading Inc. acquires Tehama apparel company. The deal was finalized on Sept. 15 and terms of the agreement were not disclosed. … Sligo Wear unveils its 2010 spring collection that will be available at retail partners and directly thru SligoWear.com beginning in March, The new collection features five new performance polo shirts along with its statement plaid trousers and shorts.

CHAMP® Spikes Enjoys Wins on European and LPGA Tour

Champ reports that the winner of the LPGA’s Samsung World Championship wore its Stinger spikes, while the European Tour’s Austrian Open winner wore its spikes along with 71 percent of the field.

GolfTalk Live Radio Show Begins Special Hershey Amateur Promotion

Philadelphia-based GolfTalk Livebegins a special promotion with Hershey Golf Collection to highlight the new Hershey Amateur, set for Oct. 11-14. As partner of the partnership, GolfTalk Live will provide on-air coverage during the weekly show and develop an e-mail campaign to help reach golfers throughout the region. The radio show also becomes a media sponsor for the event.

Tom Delamater of Cleveland Golf/Srixon was selected in the hard goods category, while Mark Bearby of Annika, CBUK, Cutter & Buck, Ogio, Pukka Headwear and Sundog was chosen in the soft goods category.

“Fairways of Life Show,” hosted by Matt Adams, features four-time major winner Ray Floyd. The radio show will air today, Monday, at 3 p.m. ET on the PGA Tour Network on Sirius 209, XM 146 Satellite Radio and PGATour.com. The show will be re-broadcast Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 26-27 at 11 a.m.

The SAS Championship finalizes the field for this week’s Champions Tour event, Sept. 25-27 at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, N.C. The field features nine of the top-10 players on the 2009 money list, and current Charles Schwab Cup points leader Fred Funk. … The Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge, which features players from the PGA, LPGA and Champions tours, is set for Nov. 10 at Rio Secco Golf Club outside of Las Vegas. The event will air Dec. 19-20 on NBC. … The Northern Texas PGA announces that two sites will be used for the Nationwide Tour’s WNB Golf Classic‘s open qualifier today, Monday, in Midland. The Green Tree Country Club will be used as the primary site, while Ranchland Hills Golf Club is the secondary site. The PGA Tour requires a second site be used when more than 132 entries are received. The NTPGA received 198 entries.
