GAP Team Matches schedule available

The 2007 Golf Association of Philadelphia Team Matches schedule is complete and posted on-line at www.gapgolf.org. This year’s matches are set for three successive Sundays in April (22, 29) and early May (6) with the playoff and challenges scheduled for Saturday, May 12.

Black Bull, a golf community in Bozeman, Mt., begins construction its infrastructure, as well as on the Club Homes. Golf contractor Niebur Golf has already completed 80 percent of the Tom Weiskopf-designed golf course. … For the second time in the 18-year history of the American Junior Golf Association‘s Canon Cup, the event will be held at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tenn. The tournament, which attracts the top junior golfers in the country, is scheduled for July 30-Aug. 2. The Canon Cup pits the East versus West in a team match-play format over three days. … Flossmoor Country Club in Flossmoor, Ill., embarks on a $1.8-million remodeling plan crafted by course architect Raymond Hearn. The project, which began after Labor Day 2006, will be carried out in three six-hole phases, finishing in the fall of 2008. … Toll Brothers is opening seven, designer-furnished, single-family home models at Jupiter Country Club in Jupiter, Fla., on Feb. 17.
