Rod Myers, head men’s golf coach at Duke, has been named the recipient of the Labron Harris Sr. Award. The Harris Award is presented to the college or high school coach and PGA Professional whose support of the game through teaching, coaching and involvement in the community has helped ensure the continued growth of the game and represents the finest qualities the game has to offer. "It’s a great honor to be recognized as both a PGA member and a GCAA member," Myers said. "I’m one of the few coaches that is old enough to have coached against Labron Harris and am fully aware of the contributions he made to the game, not only as a member of the PGA, but primarily as a collegiate coach.
