University Park, PA; – Bloom Golf Partners, an executive search and business consulting search firm focused specifically on the golf and private club industry, is proud to announce the launch of its 2026 Turfgrass Management Scholarship, a dedicated initiative aimed at investing directly in the next generation of turf professionals and accelerating the development of future leaders in golf course maintenance and agronomy. This scholarship is designed for students and emerging professionals who are committed to advancing their education, sharpening their skills, and building long‑term careers in turfgrass management.
“We are thrilled to be able to support individuals who are passionate about turfgrass science, agronomy operations, and maintaining the level of excellence that the game of golf demands,” says founder Tyler Bloom. “Our goal is simple: to support and give back to the industry that we all love, while strengthening the pipeline of talent that will shape the future of golf‑course management. There is a shortage of new talent coming into the space while increased rounds, rising member expectations, and technology advances are intensifying the demand for highly‑skilled agronomic professionals. Our entire focus as a business is to help support the talent needs of the golf industry as a whole and this is an additional way for Bloom Golf Partners to make a lasting impact”.
Experts in the space recognize that the agronomy sector has been overlooked for too long, driving Bloom Golf Partners to create the Scholarship as well as their grass-roots Greenskeeper Apprenticeship program and their financial support of organizations such as the Super‑Scratch Foundation, which is actively raising funds to support students pursuing turfgrass and agronomy education.
Bloom Golf Partners has been a steadfast supporter of the Super‑Scratch Foundation, which to date has donated more than $145,000 to agronomy students across more than ten universities. By aligning with the Foundation’s mission to “grow the game, from the ground up”, Bloom Golf Partners reaffirms its commitment to the broader agronomy community and underscores the importance of sustaining the talent pipeline with the launch of this scholarship.
The 2026 Turfgrass Management Scholarship will be open to current undergraduate and graduate students, as well as early‑career professionals, who are enrolled in or committed to entering turfgrass science, agronomy, golf‑course management, or a related discipline. Recipients will receive funding toward tuition, certification programs or professional development experiences in turf‑science and golf‑course maintenance and will have access to mentorship from industry experts affiliated with Bloom Golf Partners. The application deadline is January 31, 2026.
