Blue Tees brings its connected ecosystem of golf technology and software to to the ‘Big Break Qualifier,’ Competition for the Final Contestant in Golf Channel’s iconic competition series
LOS ANGELES, CA – Blue Tees Golf is bringing its connected ecosystem of golf technology and software to a special for one of the game’s most iconic competition series, powering the first-ever Big Break Qualifier, powered by Blue Tees.
The special, which premiered August 7 exclusively on GolfPass, featured three golfers competing for the 12th and final spot on Big Break x Good Good presented by Golf Galaxy, Golf Channel’s revival of the iconic reality competition series.
New England golfer Fletcher Babcock, California’s Murphy Scott, and Nick Bienz, a Golf Galaxy associate in Indiana, competed for the opportunity to join the cast of Big Break x Good Good and earn their shot at the season’s ultimate prize.
Blue Tees brought additional player performance insights and context to the competition, helping enrich the storytelling around each competitor and giving fans a deeper understanding of how they perform under pressure.
The partnership marks another step in Blue Tees’ expansion beyond premium golf hardware as the brand builds a more connected ecosystem of technology and software around the modern golfer.
“Big Break has always been about seeing what golfers can do when the pressure is on, which made the Qualifier a natural fit for Blue Tees,” said Joe Pilcavage, VP of Marketing at Blue Tees Golf. “Our goal is to use technology to give golfers more insight into their game and make the experience more engaging. Bringing that perspective to the first-ever Big Break Qualifier gave us an opportunity to add another layer to the competition and bring fans closer to the action.”
The Big Break Qualifier, powered by Blue Tees will make its Golf Channel premiere Monday, August 24 at 7 p.m. ET.
Big Break x Good Good presented by Golf Galaxy premieres the following night, Tuesday, August 25 at 9 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, with new episodes airing every Tuesday through October 27 and streaming the following day on GolfPass.
The new season features a diverse group of highly skilled golfers, including Good Good Golf’s Matt Meneghetti and Sean Walsh, World Long Driver Josh Jackson, World No. 1 disabled golfer Kipp Popert, and former PGA TOUR caddie Asaeli Marika “Bat” Batibasaga.
Since its debut in 2003, Big Break has challenged golfers through a variety of skills competitions from tee to green, including signature challenges such as “Glass Break” and “Flop Wall.” Throughout its history, the series has given aspiring professional golfers opportunities to compete for exemptions into professional golf events.
The winner of Big Break x Good Good will earn an exemption into the PGA TOUR’s Good Good Championship in November 2026.
