Apex, NC – On September 23-24, 2024, Golf Business Network (GBN) proudly hosted the third annual Bob Ford Pro-Pro Championship at Hidden Creek Golf Club. This prestigious event brings together leaders from the private professional golf club industry, fostering connections and camaraderie among its participants. This year, the championship saw record participation, with a full field of 72 players representing over 45 different clubs.
The atmosphere over the two-day, 36-hole Four-Ball competition was both professional and fun, allowing GBN members to reconnect and meet new faces in a casual environment. After the first round, Alex Hoffman and Steve Delmar led with an impressive score of 8 under par (63), closely followed by three teams tied at six under (65) and another at 66, making for an exciting second round.
In the final round, defending champions Dylan Newman and Nick Yaun delivered an outstanding performance, birdieing 9 of their last ten holes to card a ten under, finishing at 14 under par to secure the title. Congratulations to Dylan and Nick on their remarkable victory! Additional accolades go to Connor Costello and Chris Fischer, who placed second at 12 under, Mike Ballo Jr. and Troy Spencer in third at 11 under, and Alex Hoffman and Steve Delmar, who finished fourth at nine under par.
