Bobby Jones Links to Manage the Property Owners Association and Amenities
Atlanta, GA – Bobby Jones Links continues to grow its portfolio with the addition of Big Canoe, a large master-planned community located one hour north of Atlanta, Georgia. Big Canoe is the third property to join the Bobby Jones portfolio in 2020.
Big Canoe is a gated community, consisting of more than 8,000 acres and approximately 3,000 residents. The vibrant community has breathtaking views of the North Georgia mountains and features a 27-hole golf course, racquet club, free-form pool with a sandy beach, 13,000 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center, spa, 125 slip marina, 20 miles of established hiking trails, and multiple dining amenities.
In addition to overseeing the operation of the multitude of amenities, Bobby Jones Links will also be managing public works and safety to include 89 miles of roadways and six fire stations located inside the gates.

Gautam Patankar, a Bobby Jones Links partner has been serving as Interim General Manager for the past few months while a new POA General Manager is recruited. “We welcomed over 150 new associates to our company,’ said Patankar. “This included a full time fire department with 17 fire fighters. Now that’s a first for Bobby Jones Links, but one we are proud to add to our expanding capabilities.”
