Denver, CO, – GOLFTEC, the world leader in golf improvement and club fitting, is proud to announce that GOLFTEC Director of Teaching Quality, Brad Skupaka, has earned the Professional Development Award from the Colorado PGA Section.

The Professional Development Award recognizes a Colorado PGA Member for their outstanding and continuing contributions in developing and improving educational opportunities for the PGA Professional. Skupaka has been with GOLFTEC for 12 years, and as the Director of Teaching Quality he oversaw the training and development of over 700 GOLFTEC Coaches, having a positive influence on the careers of many PGA Professionals as they continue to grow the game.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by peers for my continued contribution to the game of golf,” said Skupaka. “I really enjoy helping our coaches improve their skills and programs, which ultimately helps our students play better golf. It’s a great feeling knowing that people are benefitting from my work.”

Brad also has assisted in GOLFTEC’s market visibility, having appeared in over 200 Golf Channel segments, and is involved in several charitable organizations, raising over $120,000 since 2019.

“Brad has set the standard for our Coaches, which is why GOLFTEC really is the leader in golf instruction,” said GOLFTEC CEO, Joe Assell. “We are so proud of all of his accomplishments, and this award shows how hard he has worked.”

Skupaka recently was promoted to Director of Club Fitting at GOLFTEC, where he will continue work in a training and development role, providing expert club fitting education to all GOLFTEC Coaches.
