TEMPE, Ariz. — Branded Bills has become the No. 2 golf headwear brand by dollar share for the first time in company history, according to the latest June Golf Datatech results. The milestone comes during golf’s peak selling season and follows 43% year-over-year growth, reflecting the brand’s strength across green grass, resorts, and golf retail.
“No one sets out to be No. 2, but we’re proud of what this milestone represents,” said Carl Montanye, Chief Sales Officer of Branded Bills. “It reflects the trust our customers place in us and the way we’ve invested in serving golf the right way. Our advantage isn’t just making great hats—it’s the experience, from the first conversation to final delivery. Everything we do starts with one question: how do we create the best customer experience in golf? We’re just getting started.”
That philosophy guides every investment Branded Bills makes in golf. The company has expanded its outside sales team to cover every major golf market and grown its in-house design team—two commitments with one objective: helping golf facilities, resorts, and retailers build better products and better retail experiences.

The in-house design team has become a key driver of growth, working directly with golf professionals, resorts, and retailers to create collections that capture the identity of each property. Paired with the growing outside sales organization, those investments have deepened customer relationships and built a service model defined by responsiveness, creativity, and execution.
While the average golf headwear retail price sits near $35, Branded Bills continues to average more than $42 per unit. More importantly, retailers are seeing higher unit sales and greater gross margin dollars with no drop in sell-through velocity—a combination that keeps separating the brand in the marketplace.
This week, Branded Bills will exhibit at the PGA Buying Summit in Frisco, Texas. Attendees can visit Booth 104 to meet the team, preview the newest golf headwear collections, and experience the design capabilities and customer-first approach driving the brand’s growth.

As it reaches this milestone, Branded Bills remains committed to the strategy behind its success: investing in golf, investing in its people, and building lasting partnerships with the facilities, professionals, and retailers who make that growth possible.
