Bass Pro Legends of Golf
Big Cedar Lodge will host the PGA TOUR Champions Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf, April 24-28, 2019. The fourth golf course at Big Cedar Lodge, Ozarks National will be played as part of the Legends of Golf. Thereafter, the course will be open to the public, increasing the number of Branson-area golf courses to nine. A 10th area course (and Big Cedar’s fifth) – Payne’s Valley by Tiger Woods’ golf architecture firm, TGR Design – is currently under construction. Specially Priced Green Fees at The Pointe
The Pointe at Pointe Royale Golf Village is aerating its greens in late March. To offset that annual course-improvement maintenance practice, The Pointe is offering $10 off green fees from March 25-April 4. Players teeing off prior to 9:50 am during March 25-31 pay only $29, while those who play from 10 am to dusk pay $39. From April 1-4, the price is $39 until 9:50 am, $49 from 10 am to dusk, with the discount applied. Enhancements at Branson Hills
A recent remodeling at Branson Hills has revitalized the top-rated golf course’s clubhouse with new carpets, new paint, new light fixtures, and more. The golf club has also added a new E-Z-GO golf cart fleet with lithium batteries. “There are several benefits to using carts with lithium batteries,” according to Dan Davis, Branson Hills Director of Golf. “They go two rounds without losing their charge, they provide a cost savings through taking less time to charge and holding their charge longer, and they weigh about 200 pounds less than carts with lead cell batteries. That means less of a footprint, less wear and tear on the golf course.”
Thousand Hills “Foursome Special”
The more is merrier according to Thousand Hills Golf Resort, which is offering is Foursome Special for $199 plus tax. To receive the special rate, golfers must go to https://www.thousandhills.com/branson-golf/specials-coupons/ and print and turn in the coupon at check-in.
