LONGWOOD, FL – The Breakthrough Golf Alliance, formerly known as the Little Linksters Association for Junior Golf Development, announces the opening of its online auction held in conjunction with the inaugural Alliance Cup Charity Scramble. The auction runs from Friday, January 16, 2026, at 12:00 PM Eastern through Monday, January 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM Eastern.
The public is invited to participate in the online auction regardless of whether they are participating in the charity scramble event. Bidders can access more than 60 premium auction items at https://breakthroughgolf.winningbidder.com/event/4837.
“We are thrilled to launch this auction as part of our inaugural Alliance Cup Charity Scramble,” said Brendon Elliott of the Breakthrough Golf Alliance. “This event represents a new chapter in our organization’s commitment to supporting talented young golfers who face financial barriers to competition and advancement in the sport.”
The auction features an extensive collection of items including luxury vacation packages to destinations such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Italy, Greece, Egypt, and Iceland; golf getaways to Top 100 courses including Casa de Campo and Cabo San Lucas; signed sports memorabilia from legends like Jack Nicklaus, Mike Tyson, and Taylor Swift; VIP experiences including Broadway packages and Thanksgiving Parade viewing; wine tasting experiences; and dude ranch adventures.
The event is presented by Taino Golf, a family-founded brand that celebrates the intersection of Latino/Hispanic culture and golf. “This partnership represents a shared vision of inclusivity and cultural celebration in golf, perfectly aligning with our mission to remove barriers and create opportunities for all young golfers,” Elliott noted.
About Breakthrough Golf Alliance
Founded with the same spirit of giving that inspired the creation of Little Linksters 501(c)(3) in 2010, the newly formed Breakthrough Golf Alliance focuses specifically on supporting talented golfers aged 13 and above who have demonstrated exceptional promise but lack the financial resources to compete or effectively showcase their abilities. The organization firmly believes that financial constraints should never prevent exceptional talent from reaching its full potential.
Through targeted support, resources, and opportunities, Breakthrough Golf Alliance helps promising young athletes overcome financial barriers and pursue their golfing aspirations. The organization’s mission ensures that talent, dedication, and passion—rather than economic circumstances—determine a young golfer’s potential for success in the sport.
The Alliance Cup Charity Scramble will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Wekiva Golf Club in Longwood, Florida, featuring a four-person scramble format with an 8:30 AM shotgun start.
Companies and individuals interested in donating items to the auction may contact Brendon Elliott directly or email brendonelliott@pga.com. Sponsorship opportunities for the event are still available.
