Tiger Woods And Bryson DeChambeau Showcase Humor and Science in New Bridgestone TV Ads
New Bridgestone spots shine spotlight on new e12 and award-winning Tour B golf ball families
(COVINGTON, GA) – Bridgestone Golf – the #1 ball-fitter in golf, will break its 2019 ad campaign this evening on The Golf Channel starring golf icons Tiger Woods and Bryson DeChambeau. For 2019, Bridgestone’s ad campaign will rely on a mix of humor, celebrity and education to entertain and inform golfers throughout North America about Bridgestone’s new e12 Golf balls and the importance of playing a golf ball that fits their game, rather than emulating Tour pros.
In the first spot that breaks tonight, PGA TOUR stars and Bridgestone endorsers Tiger Woods and Bryson DeChambeau, good naturedly joust back and forth about what golfers want in their golf balls – more distance or better accuracy – both of which the new e12 balls provide. In the second spot, Woods and DeChambeau are paired together again for some fun banter about the science behind Bridgestone’s new e12 SOFT and e12 SPEED golf balls. Tiger translates for Bryson, as “The Golf Scientist” launches into a detailed, technical explain of the e12’s new Active Acceleration Mantle Layer. The e12 TV ads’ debut will coincide with the retail availability of the balls beginning middle of this month.

Tiger Woods-Wannabe, Conor Moore Amps Up Humor in New Bridgestone TOUR B Spots
As the golf season progresses and the PGA TOUR turns its attention to the Florida Swing, Bridgestone will debut 3 additional ads geared toward educating golfers about its TOUR B series balls and how playing a Tour ball geared for amateur swing speeds is the right choice for players who don’t swing like Tiger, Matt Kuchar and Fred Couples. In fact, the aforementioned stars will team up with social media sensation, impressionist Conor Moore, for humorous spots that get the “Fit It Better, Hit It Better” message across to golfers. Moore, whose impressions of various professional golfers went viral last spring after the year’s first major, will treat viewers to his spot-on Tiger Woods impersonation throughout 3 commercials, while the Bridgestone Tour team educates him about playing the right ball for his game.

“Shooting these spots was one of the most fun experiences of my professional life,” said Dan Murphy, President & CEO – Bridgestone Golf. “Conor is brilliant and Tiger, Bryson, Kuch and Freddie all are so close that the camaraderie really made the day a blast and that really comes through in the ads, as well. We are betting big on Tiger in 2019, featuring him in every one of our new spots, and we’re confident that bet will pay great dividends.”
