Palm City, Fla. – The Cape Club of Palm City celebrated its one-year anniversary by welcoming golf greats Tiger Woods, Fred Couples, Jason Day and Matt Kuchar to the property during a recent Bridgestone Golf commercial shoot. This marked the second time in 12 months that Bridgestone Golf used the championship course at Cape Club of Palm City as the venue for their ads. Last fall, shortly after the renovation and relaunch of Cape Club of Palm City as the region’s premier private club, Bridgestone Golf’s group included the same quartet, plus LPGA Tour golfer Lexi Thompson.
“We came back to The Cape Club for our commercial and content shoot because it is the absolute ideal location. The course is exceptionally maintained, providing the perfect backdrop for our ads and digital content, and the facility and staff are first class,” said Bridgestone Golf Director of Marketing David Vogrin.
During the Bridgestone Golf commercial shoot, Woods, Couples, Day and Kuchar hit shots throughout the club’s championship layout, while joking with each other and delivering their lighthearted lines. The two new Bridgestone Golf ads that were filmed at Cape Club will begin airing in February 2024.
“We can choose anywhere to do our ads/activation, but we choose Cape Club of Palm City because the facilities and staff are top notch – the Club is first class and at the same time welcoming,” added Vogrin.
The appearance of venerable foursome concluded a year of celebrity and influencer visits to the newly transformed private club, as the Club also welcomed actor Mark Wahlberg, DJ Khaled and influencers such as Peter Finch Golf. Additionally, Skechers selected Cape Club of Palm City for their 2023 ambassador activation that included 2022 U.S. Open Champion Matt Fitzpatrick and LPGA star Brooke Henderson.
The Cape Club of Palm City, located just off the I-95 and only 30 minutes from Palm Beach International Airport, reopened as a private club following an extensive renovation on November 18, 2022. Since then, the Club has witnessed strong membership sales from those seeking a club that offers tee time availability (the club does not require tee times, just roll up and tee it), a smaller member base (only 288 golf members will make up the club), exceptional customer service, and a casual and relaxed atmosphere. Members of The Cape Club of Palm City also have access to The Cape Club Collection sister courses, The Cape Club of Sharon and The Cape Club of Falmouth both located in Massachusetts.
