Two-time U.S. Open champion wins fourth LIV title in dramatic playoff and heads to Augusta with momentum.
LAKE PARK, FLORIDA – JumboMax®, the leader in golf grip innovation, congratulates Bryson DeChambeau on his victory at LIV Golf Singapore. DeChambeau claimed his fourth LIV Golf individual title in a dramatic playoff at the Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club, returning to the winner’s circle in a four-round event for the first time since capturing the 2024 U.S. Open. Throughout the week, he trusted JumboMax counterbalanced Tour Series XL swing grips and the JMX JumboFlat 17 putter grip he helped design.
The win was hard-earned. DeChambeau led after the first and second rounds, but four bogeys in round three dropped him out of the lead and left him one shot back entering Sunday’s final round.
He came out firing, holing out for eagle on the 4th hole and adding two more birdies before a weather suspension briefly halted play. Even with a hot start, he found himself two shots off the lead at the midway point of the final round. He kept pressing. Two more birdies coming home, including one on No. 18, got him to 14-under par and forced a playoff.
In sudden death, DeChambeau found the water off the tee — and still made par.
“It was huge for me, especially with it being wet conditions … and struggling with my wedges,” DeChambeau said. “But to get it done was quite memorable. Even hitting it in the water on the last hole for the playoff, G-Bo is like, ‘Bryson, just go make par, that’s all you can do.’ And we went and did that.”
The relief was real. “Oh, incredible relief,” DeChambeau said. “Being able to come through on a golf course like this that’s super brutal and demands precision on every single shot, especially with the conditions changing. I couldn’t be more happy for my team.”
The JumboFlat 17 putter grip has a wide, flat front to promote maximum stability and a locked-in feel that supports consistency. Exactly what’s needed when something is on the line.
Bryson’s counterbalanced Tour Series grips shift the club’s balance point closer to the hands — promoting a higher, more draw-biased ball flight while unlocking additional clubhead speed.
Fellow major champions Retief Goosen and Sergio Garcia also play JumboMax counterbalanced swing grips. For players who have spent years fighting a fade or searching for more distance, it’s often the simplest equipment change they’ve never considered.
“Bryson is one of the most precise thinkers in golf. He doesn’t put anything in his bag he doesn’t believe in completely,” said John Mazzanoble, President of JumboMax Grips. “We built the JumboFlat 17 together because that’s what he needed to trust on the biggest stages. Watching him make that par in the playoff after finding the water; that’s acompetitor who’s fully locked in.”
DeChambeau heads to LIV Golf South Africa next week. After that, all eyes turn to Augusta and the 2026 Masters.
