Punta Gorda, Fla. – Burnt Store Marina Country Club recently welcomed Alyssa Eshleman as the club’s new general manager. Eshleman will oversee all elements of the semi-private facility located in Punta Gorda, Florida including the club’s 27-hole executive golf course, the Linkside Café, member and guest service, as well as membership sales and marketing.
Eshleman has nearly 15 years of experience in the golf and hospitality industries. She began her career at Maryland National Golf Club in Middletown, Maryland as a server and beverage cart attendant, and steadily rose through the organization, gaining comprehensive experience across club operations, team leadership, and member services before ultimately serving as the club’s general manager. Her career progression reflects a deep commitment to operational excellence, leadership development, and delivering exceptional member experiences.

Eshleman holds a Bachelor of Arts in biology and a Bachelor of Arts in political science, along with an MBA with a concentration in marketing. Combining extensive operational knowledge with strategic leadership and business acumen, she is passionate about cultivating a strong team culture and enhancing the overall member experience at Burnt Store Marina Country Club.
Located on the Lee/Charlotte County line, Burnt Store Marina Country Club features a 27-hole executive golf course designed by Ron Garl and Mark McCumber. The 9-hole Heron, Osprey and Pelican courses meander through native woodlands with lakes and water features coming into play on 21 of the 27 holes. Burnt Store Marina Country Club is owned by the PGI Section 22 HOA and has a vibrant and active social calendar. The club’s Linkside Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The club has a variety of golf and social memberships available for purchase.
