Cabot Citrus Farms to Host Fall and Winter Golf Schools with Combine Golf

October 26, 2026

Three-day golf schools feature Combine Golf’s proprietary A.C.T. System™ (Assess, Coach, Train) at one of America’s premier golf destinations.

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – Combine Golf has announced its upcoming three-day golf school schedule at Cabot Citrus Farms in Brooksville, Florida. Sessions are scheduled for December 10–12, 2026, and January 7–9, February 18–20, and March 4–6, 2027.

Recognized as one of America’s premier golf destinations, Cabot Citrus Farms features 57 holes of golf, including two 18-hole courses, a 10-hole course, an 11-hole par-3 course, and expansive practice facilities. The property provides an exceptional setting for golfers traveling from across the country to experience Combine Golf’s performance-based approach to player development.

A Smarter Approach to Golf Improvement

Built around its proprietary A.C.T. System™ (Assess, Coach, Train), Combine Golf takes a different approach to traditional golf instruction.

Rather than beginning with a predetermined swing correction, each school starts with Combine Golf’s comprehensive 72-Shot Combine Assessment, designed to identify the specific areas of a golfer’s game that are costing strokes. Coaches then establish personalized improvement priorities through focused instruction, structured training, and on-course application.

“Having our golf school at Cabot Citrus Farms gives our golfers something truly special,” said Joe DiChiara, Founder and Director of Instruction at Combine Golf. “Golfers come here because they want to get better, and our job is to show them exactly how. With exceptional practice facilities and 57 holes of golf, Cabot gives us the ideal environment to connect what golfers learn on the practice tee to how they actually perform on the course.”

For Rick Kelso, Director of Operations and Community at Cabot Citrus Farms, the partnership reflects his longstanding connection to the property. Kelso previously served as General Manager of World Woods Golf Club for more than 31 years before its transformation into Cabot Citrus Farms.

“Having Combine Golf at our facility has been a wonderful experience,” said Kelso. “Watching golfers enjoy the property while working to improve their game brings me tremendous joy. They’re experiencing what I have the privilege of seeing every day: just how special this place really is.”

Cabot Citrus Farms has earned national recognition, including a No. 20 ranking on Golf Digest’s America’s 75 Best Golf Resorts list. Its Roost course was also named No. 3 on Golf Digest’s Best New Public Golf Courses list for 2025–2026.
