Temecula, California (August 13th) – The Southern California PGA (SCPGA) and TravisMathew are proud to present the 5th California Teaching & Coaching Summit Monday, October 18th and Tuesday, October 19th, 2021, at The Journey at Pechanga.
The return of the California Teaching & Coaching Summit as an in-person event will see this year’s agenda stacked full of PGA Professionals, Golf Magazine Top 100 Teachers, as well as golf industry leaders. Those attending will gain insight from the golf industry’s foremost experts that will generate new ideas or polish trusted practices.
“It’s great to bring the California Teaching & Coaching Summit back to Pechanga as an in-person event and we are excited to create an inclusive learning opportunity for both high school and college coaches, along with PGA and LPGA Professionals,” said Randy Chang, Director of Instruction at the Journey at Pechanga and SCPGA Teaching Committee Chair.
The 2021 Summit’s lineup of speakers include Jim McLean; Derek Uyeda, PGA; Marcus Potter; Michael Breed, PGA; Chris Mayson; Dr. Bhrett McCabe; 2014 Women’s British Open Champion Mo Martin; and keynote speaker, Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee.

Each year the goal of the Summit is to bring together PGA and LPGA Professionals from all over California and the West to learn about the latest teaching techniques through coaching strategies, the latest technology innovations and the opportunity to network with fellow teaching and coaching professionals.
