This year is also the 30th anniversary of its wildly popular World Invitational Father & Son Tournament held on Southwest Ireland’s Waterville Golf Links (Aug. 8 – 12). To commemorate three decades, Carr Golf will also host an exclusive “one-off” father and son tournament at famed Pebble Beach Resorts on May 5 – 8. This prestigious get-together will showcase the incredible golf offered on the scenic Monterey Peninsula with rounds at Pebble Beach as well as nearby Spyglass Hill Golf Course.
Another highlight on Carr Golf’s 2019 roster of prestigious events is its Donald Ross Pro-Am, set for Sept. 24 – 28. The field is limited to 16 teams, each consisting of one PGA Professional and three amateurs. The unique golf pilgrimage features a practice round at Brora Golf Club – home of the James Braid Golfing Society – one tournament round at Gil Hanse’s scenic Castle Stuart Golf Links overlooking the Moray Firth, and two tournament rounds on Royal Dornoch, home club to the architectural genius Donald Ross and ranked world No. 2 by Golf Digest.
Also included are four nights’ accommodations, welcome reception and entertainment, three meals daily, premium gift packs presented by tournament partner Donald Ross Sportswear, on the ground transportation, farewell dinner and prize ceremony, and concierge service both pre-trip as well as during the event. Additionally, a $20,000 prize supported by Donald Ross Sportswear will be divided among the winning PGA Professionals.
