The past 12 months proved to be a banner year for the thriving Dublin-based travel company as it celebrated its 30th year of creating unique experiences and extraordinary golf vacations in England, Ireland and Scotland.
In August, Carr Golf also celebrated 30 years of hosting its signature World Invitational Father & Son Tournament held annually on famed Waterville Golf Links in Southwest Ireland with a special anniversary event at iconic Pebble Beach Resorts. This year, Carr Golf will additionally host an exclusive “one-off” father and son event at renowned Pinehurst Resort Oct. 18 – 22
The exclusive Pinehurst tournament is highlighted by rounds on the resort’s celebrated No. 2, No. 4 and No. 8 layouts as well as a practice round on The Cradle. Additional package details include four nights’ accommodations at The Carolina Hotel, welcome reception, daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, prize ceremony and tournament sponsors’ gift pack.
Its 13th World Invitational Father & Daughter Tournament will also be contested on the remarkable links at Waterville this year from July 21 – 24. In last year’s joyous event, Carr Golf hosted 40 teams hailing from the U.S., Canada, Bermuda, Scotland and Ireland. Each team entry includes three rounds of golf, deluxe nightly accommodations, welcome reception, full Irish breakfasts each morning, dinners each evening, tournament photos and gifts, shuttle transportation throughout and an awards ceremony.
Carr Golf is also the “Official Golf Travel Provider” for thrilling NCAA college football actions as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish return to Dublin to clash with the U.S. Naval Academy Midshipmen on Aug. 29. ESPN’s College Gameday will broadcast its first international show live from the event. Personalized itineraries combine the game at Aviva Stadium, first-class accommodations and exclusive tee times in sought-after venues including Royal Portrush Golf Club (host to the 2019 Open Championship), Royal County Down (ranked world No. 1 by Golf Digest) and Old Head Golf Links (co-designed by Carr Golf’s founder J.B.
