Cayland shares his experiences and favorite moments at Keiser University College of Golf:
Favorite Class: “I’d say my favorite class was Mental Approach with Mr. Wixson. Just learning how to be mentally ready for golf and not being negative on the golf course has really helped me.”
Choosing Keiser: “I chose Keiser because I got a job working at a golf course this summer, and I really enjoyed it. Fell in love with the game and working at a golf course and went home one day and looked up golf colleges and found Keiser.”
Golf Equipment: “My golf bag. Just got an AI Smoke, Stealth 3 wood, and P790s. I’d say most useful item for me would have to be the driver right now. Just crushing it and hitting fairways. My favorite golf ball is TP5X. Just, I’m a big Taylor Made guy and love the TP5X.”
Dream Course: “Augusta? It’s gotta be Augusta. Masters, all the history. Love to play Augusta.”
Favorite Memory: “Favorite memory of the College of Golf would be Hickory Golf. That was a really fun time playing with old clubs and getting to see what it was like.”
Lessons and Instructors: “So I took some lessons with all four instructors. Really enjoyed taking with them each, putting with Frank, swing fundamentals with Ken and Brian, and did some fittings with Mr. Wixson, and they’re all great teachers and really enjoyed all my lessons with them.”
Favorite Professor: “My favorite professor would be Mr. Longabucco. Great guy, funny guy, really good instructor and teacher of short game. Just he’s really helped me.”
