FRISCO, Texas — In partnership with the PGA of America, the CBS Television Network and CBS Sports Network will air “Golf Journeys: A Celebration of PGA Professionals,” an inspirational look at career opportunities in the golf industry. The one-hour special—narrated by James Brown and debuting on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 2 p.m. ET on the CBS Television Network —follows notable PGA Members who turned their passions into a profession. The show will also air in primetime on Wednesday, Aug. 24 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network (CBSSN).
The show profiles both national-award-winning PGA Members and a new generation of PGA Professionals employed in roles throughout the golf industry. Among those featured is the 2021 PGA Teacher & Coach of the Year Jamie Mulligan, PGA, General Manager/CEO at Virginia Country Club in Long Beach, California. His career has encompassed all three career paths within the PGA of America: Teaching & Coaching, Golf Operations and Executive Management.
Also featured is Maulana Dotch, PGA, General Manager at Hermann Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas, who became the first African-American female PGA Member to serve as a General Manager of a golf facility.

- Tom Wildenhaus, PGA – 2021 PGA Golf Professional of the Year and PGA Director of Golf at Olde Florida Golf Club in Naples, Florida.
- Joe Assell, PGA – 2021 PGA Executive of the Year and President & CEO/Founder of GOLFTEC in Englewood, Colorado.
- Twin Warriors & Santa Ana Golf Clubs – This Native-American owned golf facility in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico employs nine PGA Members and an Associate working across all career paths – highlighted by PGA General Manager/Director of Golf Derek Gutierrez, a member of the PGA Board of Directors; PGA Director of Instruction Sandy Lemon; PGA Head Professionals Zach Hoefel and Dave Brown; and PGA Coach Jason Montoya.
- Jabir Bilal, PGA – Winner of the 2021 Georgia PGA Section Championship while a PGA Coach in Atlanta, Bilal is now a PGA Coach in the Northern California PGA Section at Redwood Canyon Public Golf Course in Castro Valley.
- Lindsay Hoskins, PGA and Yong Joo, PGA– Two accomplished PGA Coaches at Topgolf facilities in Las Vegas and Washington D.C.-Loudon respectively, both with a passion to attract new players to the game.
- Andrew and Sara Stephens, PGA – Husband and wife who are golf facility Owner/Operators at the Stephens Golf Center in the Kentucky PGA Section. Together, they cover all of the roles of management, operations and coaching.
- Jericho & Johnlen Trianna, PGA – An inspiring story of a mother and son who both graduated from the PGA Golf Management University program at New Mexico State in 2016. They now coach at The Golf Club at Lansdowne in Virginia.
- Tele Wightman, PGA – PGA Director of Golf at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah, who coached Team Utah to victory at the 2021 National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championship.
