Champion Hills Named One Of The “Best Of The Best” Planned Communities By Ideal-Living Magazine
Hendersonville, North Carolina (July 18, 2018) – Champion Hills, a 730-acre residential community located in Hendersonville, North Carolina, has been named one of the “Top 100 Planned Communities” and a “Best Mountain Views” community by ideal-LIVING magazine in their Summer 2018 Best of the Best in Planned Communities issue.
Hundreds of communities were nominated for ideal-LIVING’s 2018 Best of the Best in Planned Communities awards. Earlier this year, a special editorial committee was assembled by the publication to review the qualifications of each nominee and select the winners in nine categories, including “Top 100 Planned Communities,” “Best Mountain Views,” “Best Water Views,” and more.
“Champion Hills is honored to receive this recognition from ideal-LIVING magazine,” said Dana Schultz, general manager, The Champion Hills Club. “Our residents and members have known for years that Champion Hills is a special place. These awards put Champion Hills on a national stage with other fine communities throughout the country.”
Set in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains at an elevation of 3,000 feet, Champion Hills is a year-round residential community providing four-season beauty. The Champion Hills Club is the centerpiece of the community and features a Tom Fazio-designed, 18-hole par-71 golf course that has been ranked by Golf Digest as one of the top private courses in North Carolina. In addition to its award-winning golf course, Champion Hills also features a 25,000 square foot clubhouse with multiple dining options; a new fitness center with classes and personal training; two lighted Har-Tru tennis courts; a heated pool, hydro spa and sun deck; Bocce ball courts; and 18 miles of marked and well-maintained walking trails.
“The ‘Best of the Best’ feature honors those areas and communities which deserve special recognition for their outstanding qualities, facilities, and programs,” said ideal-LIVING’s Editor and Associate Publisher Kelly Godbey. “We hope that this special feature in our Summer 2018 edition will serve our readers by focusing on the places that offer the lifestyle enhancements that are the most important to them.”
Champion Hills is managed by Troon Privé, the private club operating division of Troon.
