England’s Charley Hull, who reached a career high ranking of No.3 on the Rolex Rankings in February, the highest ever achieved by a British player, has confirmed she will play at the 2026 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open taking place at Dundonald Links, July 23-26.
Having recently celebrated her 30th birthday, Hull is currently ranked No.4, and has already been in the winner’s circle this year, winning the PIF Saudi Ladies International in February.
This will be Hull’s 10th appearance in the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open which she has played consecutively since 2017, making every cut with her best finish being 5th place which she achieved in both 2021 and 2024.
One of the most popular golfers on Tour, Hull commented, “I always look forward to the summer when the Tour arrives in the UK and I think the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open is the perfect week for me to get my head into playing links golf. It’s always a pleasure to play in front of the super knowledgeable Scottish crowds and I really enjoy staying on site at Dundonald in their luxury apartments. Everything is super easy and we are looked after so well that I think it is the perfect tournament to play ahead of the AIG Women’s Open. I will try my best to make it 10th time lucky this year!”
With defending champion, Lottie Woad, already having confirmed her place in the line-up alongside leading Scot, Gemma Dryburgh, a three-time winner of the Jock MacVicar Leading Scot award (2022, 2023, 2025), the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open field is set to be as strong as ever.
The Scottish Government and VisitScotland recently announced a new funding agreement for the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open, providing investment to help support the growth and profile of the tournament over the next three years through to 2028.
The 2026 tournament returns to Dundonald Links following a record-breaking event, which welcomed more than 11,000 spectators across the week. This year’s edition will also be the only LPGA Tour event staged in Scotland.
The 2026 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open marks the third year with ISPS HANDA as title sponsor and the fifth consecutive year the tournament has been held at Dundonald Links. The event returned to the Ayrshire venue in 2022 following a multi-million-pound redevelopment that transformed the Verde Resorts venue into one of the UK’s finest golf resorts. Dundonald Links also previously hosted the championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

About Dundonald Links
Located on Ayrshire’s renowned golf coast, Dundonald Links is a premier venue that has hosted both the Men’s and Women’s Scottish Opens, notably becoming the first course to stage both in the same year in 2017. The Women’s Scottish Open will return again in 2026, alongside Open Championship Final Qualifying. Originally designed by Willie Fernie and opened in 1911, the course was later used by the military during World War II and remained inactive for decades before being revived.
Reimagined by course designer Kyle Phillips, Dundonald Links – part of the Verde Resorts family – reopened in 2003 as a modern classic links course, quickly gaining a reputation for its challenging bunkers and creative greens. Significant investment has since transformed it into a luxury resort, offering high-end accommodation and dining at The Canny Crow, blending rich heritage with a contemporary golf experience.
