CHÂTEAU ÉLAN GOLF CLUB WELCOMES NEW DIRECTOR OF FOOD SERVICE OPERATIONS
Château Élan Golf Club in Braselton, Georgia is pleased to welcome Jason Luna as the club’s new director of food service operations. Luna will oversee all culinary facets, menu mix, personnel and guest satisfaction at Château Élan’s Sarazen’s Bar & Grille as well as catering operations at the Château Élan Golf Pavilion. Château Élan Golf Club is located approximately 40 minutes northeast of Atlanta and is part of the beautiful Château Élan Winery & Resort.
Luna is a 17-year veteran of the hospitality and food & beverage industries having owned and operated a popular wine and cigar bar, served as a golf club general manager and directed the F & B operations at country clubs and clubs throughout the Southeast. Outstanding guest satisfaction scores, creative and delicious menu selections, and increased revenues have been constants throughout Luna’s career.
“We’re excited to have Jason lead our food and beverage operations at Château Élan Golf Club,” said Club Manager Bryan Easley, who himself moved to Château Élan Golf Club this past October. “Jason is very creative and extremely passionate about outstanding service and serving delicious food. He will help us take Sarazen’s to the next level in terms of service and food quality.”
Easley has been in the golf industry for more than 18 years, leading the club operations at daily-fee, resort and private clubs in Louisiana, Texas and Georgia. Prior to his arrival at Château Élan in November, Easley was the general manager at Stonebridge Golf Club in New Orleans.
“Bryan’s experience leading multi-course facilities is impressive,” said Guy Sugden, vice president, operations, Troon. “Between Bryan and Jason, the club and F & B operations at Château Élan are in great hands.”
Located at Château Élan Golf Club’s Château and Woodlands courses, Sarazen’s Bar & Grille was completely renovated in 2018 and features an All-American menu with grilled meats, sandwiches and salads, as well as a large variety of hand-crafted cocktails. The new Sarazen’s includes a large central bar, an open dining room layout, a 1,053 square-foot back porch for outdoor dining and a “backyard” area with lounge seating and fire pits for before or after dinner enjoyment. The nearby Golf Pavilion, also renovated in 2018, is the perfect location for private events, meetings and celebrations.
