Chelsea Piers Connecticut to Host Inaugural ZSTRICT Open
Flighted Stroke-Play Tournament to be Played on Bethpage Black
ZSTRICT – the new North American affiliate of GOLFZON and winner of “Best Simulator” by Golf Digest’s Editors’ Choice Awards three years in a row – will host the inaugural ZSTRICT Open at Chelsea Piers Connecticut from Jan. 11 – Feb. 12, 2020.
ZSTRICT represents the next generation of golfers who value affordable, competitive and social golf communities. Powered by GOLFZON, the world leader in golf simulator market share, the first ZSTRICT Open in North America will be a flighted stroke-play tournament staged over the course of one month. Taking place within ZSTRICT’s 11,000 square-foot location at Chelsea Piers Connecticut, the competition will take on New York’s legendary Bethpage Black Course, which recently hosted the 2019 PGA Championship and 2016 FedEx Cup Playoffs (The Barclays).
Within the tournament window of Jan. 11 – Feb. 12, entries are open to everyone, and participants can play as many times as they would like.
Golfers are eligible to compete in one of five flights: Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Those without an official ZSTRICT handicap will be placed into the Diamond Flight. A cash purse of $5,000 will be paid out amongst the flights.

While recently playing at Chelsea Piers Connecticut, local golfers Peter Cabrera and James Swagger each won $205 by making eagles on the par-4 9th hole at St. Andrews – Old Course and the par-4 11th hole at Pebble Beach, respectively. Like the ZSTRICT Open, there will be many ways to win cash throughout the year.
