On-Course Cottages, Westin Poinsett in Downtown Greenville Highlight Offerings
TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – Cherokee Valley Course and Club, Upstate South Carolina’s premier family club and mountain golf destination, has released its golf packages for 2021 featuring stay-and-plays at its charming onsite cottages and the historic Westin Poinsett in downtown Greenville.
Cherokee Valley’s cottage collection features three elegantly appointed homes right on the golf course. Each is equipped with four bed-and-bath suites to provide plenty of privacy and ample room. The cottages afford a relaxing atmosphere with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Rates start at $130 a night for one room with one bed and range up to $600 for a four-bedroom cottage with two beds per room.
A round of golf on Cherokee’s P.B. Dye-designed mountain-style layout can be added for $33 on weekdays (Mon. – Thurs.), $43 on weekends (Fri. – Sun.) or $60 for “all you can play,” subject to availability. For more information on cottage rates, configurations, availability or to book visit our Accommodations Page.
“We’re seeing a lot of play from outside the area, even from out of state, and we look forward to welcoming and serving traveling golfers this year,” says Cherokee Valley owner Matthew Jennings. “With the opening of Core 450 – our new casual dining restaurant – the new golf shop, brand-new golf carts and exciting Finn Cycles, we can offer a venue unlike any other in the region.”
Cherokee Valley has also partnered with the historic Westin Poinsett in beautiful downtown Greenville to offer value-laden packages. Located in the heart of one of America’s most acclaimed cities, the AAA Four Diamond hotel is an easy 30-minute drive from the course. Packages include a 350-square-foot guest room with one king or two queen beds, 42-inch flat screen, mini-fridge, 24-hour Westin Workout Fitness Studio and a round of golf with cart. In addition to golf packages, the course and club recently announced its annual membership plans for 2021, with no initiation fees or food and beverage minimums.
At $210, monthly, for families and $173.25 for singles, The Platinum Membership features full access to golf, the resort-style pool, golf training facility and practice range.
