Chippo Golf, winners of 2018 Best New Product Award, announce their triumphant return to Orlando for the PGA Merchandise Show.
With rumors swirling of a planned extravagant entrance to the Orlando Convention Center that promises “elephants, a marching band, at least one hippopotamus, possibly a giraffe and a horse drawn carriage,” co-founders Brendan McAuley and Matt Moss of Chippo Golf, announced they will return to the PGA Merchadise Show this year to defend their title of Best New Product Award Winner. “Even though were not technically eligible, as we are no longer a new product, we are confident we can defend our title and if we’re gonna go down, we’re gonna go down swinging,” said CEO Brendan McAuley, in a statement that makes little to no sense.
Chippo, billed as the glorious lovechild of golf and Cornhole, has forever altered the world of backyard games – and quite possibly the world in general – since it’s launch in early 2017. 2018 was a busy year for Chippo Nation, starting off with taking home the coveted Best New Product Award at last year’s PGA Merchandise Show. Chippo also became an officially licensed partner of the PGA Tour, participated in The Tiger Woods Foundation’s Tiger Jam and Tiger Woods Invitational, launched on multiple new channels, expanded internationally, launched its Custom Chippo Product line, partnered with the 18Birdies Dream Games Program, sold out of everything it sells this holiday due to crazy demand and formally launched Chippo for Charity, a program that supports Charity Organization through Charity Golf Events. “While our main goal is to sell a lot of stuff and retire early,” claims CEO McAuley, “we also have somewhat functional hearts and we do care deeply about giving back. In 2018, we supported over 75 charity organizations through the Chippo for Charity program including the Tiger Woods Foundation, the Kevin Kisner Foundation, the Boomer Esiason Foundation, The Toby Keith Foundation and many more.”
Chippo plans to have one of the most fun booth experiences at the PGA Show this year, including The Famous Chippo Challenge, contests and giveaways. They do not (wink face emoji) plan on smuggling in beers. According to COO Matt Moss: “I figure, I had to take out a second mortgage on my house to afford to have a booth here, might as well have some fun with it.”

Says CEO McAuley regarding the open, welcoming and inclusive nature of the Chippo Golf brand: “We’ll do our best to limit our alcohol consumption at TopGolf every night so that we can be cordial and entertaining when you come by our booth.”
