Montreal, Quebec: Chronogolf, a leading international golf management software provider, announced today that Kurt Albertson has joined the team in the role of Vice President, US Operations. In this role, Kurt will work with the growing Chronogolf team to expand their business interests in the United States.
Kurt has a long history in the golf industry, including 13 years in the golf technology space, which followed 7 years in operations at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Resort and Pinnacle Peak CC in the Phoenix metro market. He spent much of his 13 years in the golf technology space working with the leading multi-course operators and will look to grow Chronogolf’s MCO clients through their best-of-breed, cloud-based software solution.
Of the new role, Kurt stated: “I had a great experience over my 13 years in the technology space, but needed a bit of a break to explore other opportunities. However, when the Chronogolf opportunity presented itself, it was a great chance to get back into golf with industry-leading technology that I feel can really make a difference for golf course operators.”
Co-CEO JD St-Martin gave his rationale for the recent hiring: “We were looking to expand our efforts into the US market, and Kurt filled a great need for our team – someone that fully understands the market, but also has extensive contacts in the industry and a background in product development.
