Georgetown, Texas – Cimarron Hills Golf & Country Club in Georgetown, Texas recently completed a renovation project on the club’s 45,000 square-foot clubhouse.
The Cimarron Hills’ clubhouse renovation project focused on updating and upgrading flooring, interior paint and furniture throughout the 14-year old building. Design work on the project was led by Troon’s Clubhouse Design & Development team, headed by Cindy Anderson, and included work in the main foyer of the clubhouse, the Terrace Room, men’s and ladies lounges, men’s and ladies locker rooms and the Little Bear Activity Center. The clubhouse’s color palette has been updated to include color schemes that coincide with their Texas Tuscan architecture throughout the facility.
The clubhouse renovation comes on the heels of numerous club improvements, including the resurfacing of the club’s five tennis courts with high-performance Plexipave – the same surface used at the Australian Open – and re-plastering of the 105,000 gallon swimming pool located at the Cimarron Hills’ Aquatics Center.
“It’s an exciting time at Cimarron Hills as ownership continues to reinvest-in and improve this amazing club,” said Robbie Kearney, PGA, general manager, Cimarron Hills Golf & Country Club. “The changes made to the clubhouse, while mainly cosmetic, are incredible and add new life to the club.”
Managed by Troon Privé, the private club operating division of Troon, Cimarron Hills Golf & Country Club opened on January 1, 2003. The Club features a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design golf course that meanders through beautiful rolling hills of Texas ranch land and over the years has matured into a stunning 7,300-yard, oak-tree lined masterpiece.
