ANGEL PARK’S CLOUD 9 NAMED A TOP PAR-3 COURSE IN AMERICA
LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Angel Park Golf Club’s Cloud 9 Par-3 course has been named to Golf.com’s “Go small or go home: These are the 12 best par-3 courses in America” list. Released December 27th, the courses selected are “12 of the finest public-access short courses in the United States,” according to the publication’s editorial team.
“We are thrilled to be included alongside some very big names in Golf.com’s list of the best Par-3 courses in the country,” said David Bogue, General Manager of Angel Park Golf Club. “We pride ourselves on giving our fantastic players the best experience possible each and every trip out to Angel Park. The Cloud 9 course is a favorite and I’m glad it’s getting the accolades it deserves!”
“The team at Angel Park does such a great job of giving its guests an unforgettable experience with first-class course conditions and innovative services year-round,” said Phil Green, Chief Operating Officer of OB Sports. “Those of us who have played the Cloud 9 Course under the lights know much fun it is, and those who haven’t need to put in on their ‘Must-Do in Las Vegas’ list immediately.”
Listed alongside courses like “The Sandbox” at Sand Valley Resort and “The Preserve” at Bandon Dunes, Cloud 9’s unique layout of replicating 12 of the most famous approaches in golf caught the Golf.com staff’s attention.
“When you’re on Cloud 9, you’re on a quintessentially Vegas short-course,” Golf.com said about the course. “Its 12 holes [are] designed to simulate the challenge of fabled one-shotters around the world, including a postage stamp green, an island green and a ‘Riviera’ green, with a bunker smack-dab in its middle. When the sun goes down, the fun doesn’t stop. Nine of the holes are lit at night.”
Opened in 1993 and designed by Bob Cupp and John Fought, the Cloud 9 Course has earned numerous awards from national publications. To experience the Cloud 9, visit angelpark.com/cloud9 or call (888) 446-5358.
