Upper Arlington, OH — The latest episode of The Tech Caddie podcast features something brand-new for listeners: a live product demo. Host Mike Hendrix welcomed Michael Rawlins, VP of Product and Co-Founder at Club Caddie, for an on-camera walkthrough of the company’s newly released Food & Beverage (F&B) mobile application—now available in the Apple App Store.
Rawlins, a Class A PGA Member, shared the story behind the app’s development and explained why he believes PGA Golf Professionals are uniquely positioned to lead product innovation inside golf-technology companies. “Nobody understands the operational reality of a golf facility better than the people who run them,” Rawlins said during the interview.
The episode also traces Rawlins’ remarkable journey through the golf industry—from a Wisconsin high school student, to Ferris State University’s PGM program, to early roles at Rackham Golf Course and the startup Golfler. His career ultimately led him to co-found Club Caddie, help grow the company following its acquisition by Jonas/Constellation Software, and even become a part-owner of Warren Valley Golf Course.
Now, before the age of 40, Rawlins leads product development at one of the fastest-growing software providers in golf. His story is a compelling example for aspiring golf professionals and anyone looking to build a career in golf technology.
Fans of The Tech Caddie will enjoy the mix of product insight, career perspective, and candid storytelling—and may walk away inspired to dig deeper into their own growth in the golf industry.
