Club Champion Team in Finals for ING Business Achievement Award
Network recognizes the innovation of the brand’s CEO and founder
Two members of the Club Champion team are being recognized as finalists in the International Network of Golf (ING) Industry Honors Awards. Joe Lee, CEO, and Nick Sherburne, founder, are on the shortlist for potential winners at this year’s ceremony, to take place during the PGA Merchandise Show.
In just four years, the innovative custom club fitter has grown from a regional seven-studio fitting business to a trusted club fitting expert with 70 locations nationwide (and more set to open in 2020). The Tour-level experience offered at Club Champion includes over 35,000 hittable head and shaft combinations, the industry’s most highly trained fitters and builders, and cutting edge technology throughout both the fitting and building processes. That immersive experience has been crafted and refined through the partnership of Sherburne and Lee.
“This company is the culmination of my passion for club fitting and Joe’s business acumen,” says founder Sherburne. “He and I have been able to create an environment that employs golf enthusiasts and serves them as well. We started small but proved through golfer demand that we’re the real deal and get real results.”

Created in 1994, the ING Industry Honors program annually recognizes outstanding achievement in various areas of the golf industry. Nominations in a dozen categories are accepted throughout the year from anyone in the golf business; winners are then determined via a vote of ING members. The ING Industry Honors winners will be announced on January 23, 2020 during the PGA Merchandise Show.
