Alexandria, VA – The Club Foundation is pleased to announce the 2021 recipients of the LaRocca Executive Scholarship. Recognizing how much The Club Foundation has impacted their careers, the LaRocca Family stepped forward to give back to the industry by making a generous contribution to The Club Foundation in 2010. The LaRocca Family Executive Scholarship was created to both honor their commitment to professional development and to recognize their continued support of the Foundation. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial support to club managers interested in both furthering their own professional development as well as helping others achieve their career goals through active mentorship.
The 2021 recipients are:
- Joseph McGuire, CCM (Mentor) and Kathryn Reinhart (Mentee) – Country Club of Maryland, Towson, MD
- James Reisig, CCM (Mentor) and Florentina Enica (Mentee) – Tokeneke Club, Darien CT
- Kimberly Wood, CCM (Mentor) and Lori LeBard (Mentee) – El Niguel Country Club, Laguna Niguel, CA
The scholarship provides financial support for attendance at a Business Management Institute (BMI) for mentors and the option to receive complimentary conference registration or payment of annual CMAA national and chapter dues for the mentees.
“The LaRocca Family have long been stalwart supporters of the club management profession,” said CMAA President and CEO Jeff Morgan, FASAE, CAE. “Their generosity in supporting The Club Foundation with a dual component scholarship demonstrates the importance of mentorship within this industry and provides professional growth opportunities for both recipients.”
