Alexandria, VA — The Club Management Association of America (CMAA) announces its elected 2024 Officers and Board of Directors. The CMAA Board of Directors consists of 13 club management professionals who work together with the membership, National Committees and Task Forces, Partners, and the National Headquarters team to advance the profession and the broader industry collaboratively.
The 2024 Board officers are:
- Chairman Joe Mendez, CCM, CCE, General Manager/COO, Doylestown Country Club, Doylestown, PA
- Vice Chairman Richard LaRocca, CCM, CCE, General Manager/Chief Operating Officer, St. Clair Country Club, Upper St. Clair, PA
- Secretary–Treasurer Janine Budzius, CCM, CCE, General Manager/Chief Operating Officer, Houston Country Club, Houston, TX
- Immediate Past Chairman Michael Seabrook, CCM, CCE, General Manager/Chief Operating Officer, Belle Meade Country Club, Nashville, TN
The four club management professionals who were newly elected or reelected as Directors are:
- Judy Higgins, CCM, CCE, General Manager, Valley Lo Club, Glenview, IL, elected to a one-year term
- Jeff Isbell, CCM, General Manager, Renaissance, Haverhill, MA, re-elected to a three-year term
- Charles Johnson, CCM, Executive Manager/CEO, Detroit Athletic Club, Detroit, MI, elected to a three-year term
- Casey Newman, CCM, General Manager/Chief Operating Officer, Lakeside Country Club, Houston, TX, re-elected to a three-year term

CMAA members participated in the elections process both online and in-person. The official election results were announced at the Closing Business Session of CMAA’s 2024 World Conference and Club Business Expo in Las Vegas, NV.
