Elite Junior Golf Showcase Camp Features Top-Ranked College Golf Programs July 18 – 19
LOS ANGELES, CA – College Golf Experience (CGX), exclusively endorsed by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), will bring highly ranked male junior golfers together with powerhouse college golf coaches and programs at its Boys Top100 South Camp, presented by adidas Golf, at Texas Rangers Golf Club, July 18 – 19.
At CGX Top100 Camps, juniors and their parents engage with the top-ranked coaches over two days where they experience: immersive education sessions on college golf and the recruiting pathway, NIL seminars, open Q&A sessions, and on-course coach engagement and instruction during simulated college golf practice and tournament rounds, plus real-time evaluation and personalized feedback from the coaches help them discover the right collegiate program fit.
“Camps with college coaches are vital for top-ranked juniors. Bringing together this many top-ranked college coaches opens the door for relationship building that helps guide junior golfers down their path to finding their fit and their spot at the next level,” says CGX Founder and CEO Joshua Jacobs. “Camps complement a player’s tournament schedule and create the connective tissue between junior and college golf, and player and coach. We look forward to welcoming junior golfers from the South, throughout the United States, and around the world at the Boys Top100 South Camp presented by adidas Golf.”
Head coaches from prestigious NCAA golf programs confirmed for the upcoming Boys Top100 South Camp include:
Bill Allcorn (TCU), Alan Bratton (Oklahoma State), Glen Millican (University of New Mexico), Grant Robbins (Kansas State), Mike McGraw (Baylor), Chris Parra (SMU), Jonathan Dismuke (University of Houston), Chuck Winstead (LSU), Brad McMakin (Arkansas), Jamie Bermel (Kansas), Ryan Blagg (Louisville), and Brian Kortan (Texas A&M).
While all junior golfers are welcome and eligible to attend this unique gathering of coaches, the top-125 juniors in their classes are encouraged to attend and take part in this showcase camp. CGX camps are open to any and all entrants limited only by number of participants, gender, and age.
“The CGX Top100 Camp is a great opportunity for junior golfers to interact with college golf coaches on and off the golf course and to really learn what life is like as a college player. Simulating practice rounds with coaches on the golf course, and then engaging in informative question-and-answer sessions is a really valuable way to learn from top coaches from multiple schools,” said Oklahoma State Men’s Head Golf Coach Alan Bratton, who attended the first CGX Top100 in Arizona in 2022.
With adidas Golf as the presenting partner, players at CGX Top100 Camps will receive adidas hats, shirts, a backpack and outwear (winter camps only) to wear during camp as well as an exclusive link to additional adidas product offerings. Campers will receive adidas Golf scripting with notes on what to wear at the camp each day, similar to what they would experience on a college golf team and in professional golf.
Prominent coaches who have attended previous CGX Top100 Camps include NCAA Men’s Division I National Championship winners like J.C. Deacon of Florida (2023), Michael Beard of Pepperdine (2021), Alan Bratton of Oklahoma State (2018), and Ryan Hybl of Oklahoma State (2017).
