19th Annual Linger Longer Invitational on tap for March 15-18
GREENSBORO, Ga. – The 19th annual Linger Longer Invitational (LLI), co-hosted by the University of Georgia, Mercer University, and Kennesaw State University, is scheduled for March 15-18 at The Landing, Reynolds Lake Oconee. Spectators will be able to watch the best and brightest stars in men’s college golf during three rounds of competition.
The Landing was the first golf course built on Lake Oconee and features a variety of holes along the lake, and others that wind through wooded areas and rolling hills. The true challenge lies in its fast greens and the precision required for demanding shots.
The tournament features individual and team competitions in 54-hole stroke play on the Bob Cupp-designed layout. Participating colleges include:

Many Linger Longer Invitational alumni have ascended to the PGA TOUR ranks, including Justin Thomas (Alabama, 2009), Rickie Fowler (Oklahoma State, 2009), Scottie Scheffler (Texas, 2015), and Nick Dunlap (Alabama, 2023). The University of Alabama’s Cory Whitsett was a three-time Linger Longer individual champion (2011-2013).
