Colorado Golfers Vote Arcis Golf Clubs Among “Best in State”
Colorado Avid Golfer readers honor three properties
DALLAS, TX — Three clubs in Colorado operated by Arcis Golf have been honored for excellence by the readers of Colorado Avid Golfer magazine.
Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton, a public facility, and two private clubs, The Pinery Country Club and The Club at Pradera, both in Parker, received numerous honors in the magazine’s 2020 CAGGY Awards, which are given based on online voting by thousands of readers.
Arrowhead Golf Club, a Robert Trent Jones Jr. design, was ranked second best golf course in the Denver Metro area and its 13th hole was declared the best par 3. The club also was cited among the best courses at which to hold a tournament.
In keeping with Arcis Golf’s focus on lifestyle and amenities at all its clubs, Arrowhead Golf Club was singled out for its stellar offerings off the golf course, including best après-golf experience (#1) and best wedding/party venue (#1).
Both of Arcis Golf’s private clubs in Parker—The Pinery Country Club and The Club at Pradera—made the list. Pradera was a staff pick as the best golf course community, while Pinery was “the most underrated club.”
Jason Witczak, PGA professional and Director of Golf Instruction for The Club at Pradera and Pinery Country Club, was chosen among the best instructors for junior golfers.
The Pinery Country Club, which offers 27 holes of golf with panoramic vistas, and The Club at Pradera, a spectacular 7,200-yard layout that blends harmoniously with pristine natural surroundings in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains, shared the distinction as Best Value in the Private Club division.
An industry leader in providing inventive direction and unrivaled lifestyle amenities that complement exceptional playing experiences, Arcis Golf focuses its best-in-class talent and resources on creating extraordinary experiences and forging emotional connections with members and guests. In the past three years, more than $60 million has been invested across its portfolio in property upgrades, new amenities, personnel, training, and systems to maximize growth and future success.
“Our unwavering commitment is that every Arcis Golf property provide the ultimate club experience for our members and guests,” said Blake S. Walker, founder and CEO of Arcis Golf. “This is certainly exemplified by these three clubs, and we are very proud that our Colorado properties have been recognized by the state’s avid golfers and Colorado Avid Golfer magazine.”
In January, Arcis Golf was recognized by the National Golf Foundation (NGF) on its biennial list of the “Top 100 Businesses in Golf.” Arcis Golf also appeared on the Inc. Magazine 5000 list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies in 2017 and 2018, a rare feat since only one in three companies record sufficient growth to merit back-to-back inclusion. In 2018 Walker was recognized by EY as the Entrepreneur Of The Year® in the hospitality category for the Southwest region.
The CAGGY awards divide facilities into two categories—private, public and resort—with voting for instruction and travel destinations as well. The CAGGY awards can be viewed in the Spring edition of the magazine, as well as online at https://coloradoavidgolfer.com/2020-caggy-award-winners/.
