LAKE MARY, Fla. and MONTEREY, Calif.– Concert Golf Partners has acquired The Club at Pasadera from a group of local investors in Monterey, California. This acquisition marks Concert Golf’s entry into the California market and represents another significant step forward in its mission to preserve and enhance premier private country clubs across the United States.
The ownership group that purchased The Club at Pasadera in 2018 consisted of dozens of individual investors. They chose Concert Golf Partners as their successor after engaging with a third-party management company, an effort that proved unable to fully solve some critical long-term governance and capital issues.
Concert Golf, which is headquartered near Orlando in Lake Mary, Florida, emerged from a group of owner-operators and third party managers as the ideal successor, offering a full-service solution and a commitment to maintain the Club’s unique culture and legacy, while helping it reach new heights.
Nestled in the iconic landscape of the Monterey Peninsula, The Club at Pasadera captures the essence of coastal luxury and refined living. The extraordinary 6,673-yard, par-71 golf course, masterfully crafted by Jack Nicklaus carries a 73.7 course rating and a slope of 143. It offers not only challenging and strategic play, but also breathtaking panoramas of the Pacific coastline and surrounding hillsides. Each round becomes a sensory journey, blending the thrill of the game with the serene beauty that defines the Monterey Peninsula.
“We’re thrilled to welcome The Club at Pasadera, a perfectly crafted golf course and premier club located in one of golf’s elite global destinations, into the Concert Golf family,” said Concert Golf Partners Senior Vice President Jordan Peace. “Our commitment to safeguarding the rich heritage of this club aligns seamlessly with our overarching mission.”
“The Club at Pasadera is a special place to me and to all of the other partners who personally invested to acquire the club in 2018, and invested in its many improvements,” added Rohit Khanna, Chairman of the Managing Committee at The Club at Pasadera. “We are very proud of the progress that we have made over the past five years and are confident that Concert Golf is the right successor for The Club at Pasadera to become the best golf and family-oriented country club on the Peninsula.”
More than a club, The Club at Pasadera is a vibrant community united by a passion for extraordinary living.
“The Club at Pasadera is one of the underrated gems of California golf,” said Jim Nantz. “The club and course are absolutely spectacular.”
Beyond the fairways, The Club at Pasadera presents an array of exclusive amenities. The resort-style pool is a social hub on weekends—and the 25-meter lap pool is prized by fitness fanatics eager to get in a cardio workout.
The Club at Pasadera is recognized as a premier destination site for weddings on the Monterey Peninsula, ranking second in the region after Pebble Beach for ceremonies hosted each year. The dining room, which seats up to 150 guests, opens to a covered patio, overlooking the golf course and the majestic rolling hills of the Santa Lucia Mountains.
The Nicklaus Lodge at The Club at Pasadera offers members a complete five-bedroom lodge, perfect for executive retreats and family gatherings.
The Club’s commitment to creating memorable experiences extends to its unique member programs, from curated wine tastings to exclusive golf clinics, ensuring that every moment spent at The Club at Pasadera is one of significance and shared connection. Meanwhile, signature events, such as The Concours at Pasadera – a collection of modern, classic, and vintage automobiles gathered from club members and locals-embody the spirit of the membership.
